Getting off to a good start helps breastfeeding work well for the entire family. International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) are uniquely equipped with special clinical knowledge and an ability to handle a variety of breastfeeding issues while providing gentle encouragement and support. I provide lactation consulting services in the comfort of your own home. In addition to basic breastfeeding support, I can help with:

Initial Visit (1.5-2 hours)
- Review of maternal and infant health history, birth and breastfeeding experience
- Physical assessment of mom and baby
- Weight check for baby, including pre- and post-feeding weights
- Observation, assessment and feeding assistance
- Personalized and detailed breastfeeding care plan
- Follow-up care via text, email and/or phone
Follow-up Visit (30 minutes – 1 hour)
- Assessment of progress
- Weight check for baby
- Comprehensive feeding assessment (includes pre-feed and post-feed weight check)
- Revision of care plan (if necessary)
- Follow-up care via text, email and/or phone
